Our Commitment
Timeless is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure throughout the platform
- Alt text on all meaningful images
- Keyboard navigation support
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios
- Resizable text without loss of content or functionality
- ARIA labels on interactive elements
- Reduced motion support via prefers-reduced-motion
- Focus indicators on all interactive elements
Known Limitations
While we strive for full compliance, some areas of the platform may have limitations:
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g. SoundCloud players) may not be fully accessible
- Complex data visualizations may not convey all information to screen readers
- Some older content may not meet all accessibility requirements
Compatibility
Timeless is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies: screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver), screen magnification software, and speech recognition software. The platform is best experienced in modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
