Safety Statement

Timeless is a music platform with submissions, comments, polls, and other user-generated content. We take online safety seriously and comply with the UK Online Safety Act 2023, the EU Digital Services Act, the Irish Online Safety and Media Regulation Act, the Australian Online Safety Act, and equivalent regimes wherever our users are located. This page explains how to flag content, how quickly we respond, and how to reach our safety team.

   Report harmful or illegal content

   Anyone, signed in or not, can report content. We action all reports and treat child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and terror content as critical - these are escalated immediately and preserved for referral to law enforcement (NCA, IWF, Ofcom).

   This mailbox is monitored by the Timeless Safety Team. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve standard reports within 72 hours. Critical reports are actioned same-day.

   If we take action against you

   When we remove content or restrict an account, we send the affected user a structured explanation that includes the rule broken, the legal or policy basis, and instructions on how to appeal. This is our DSA "Statement of Reasons".

   Children and young people

   Timeless requires users to be 13 or over. Users between 13 and 17 have additional safeguards by default: restricted contact surfaces, guardian consent on file, and no behavioural recommendations. We do not show personalised advertising to minors.

   Copyright and rights holders

   For copyright takedown notices and DMCA-equivalent requests, use the report form with category "Copyright" or email safety@timeless.dj with full notice details (work, infringing URL, sworn statement, contact details).

   We publish aggregated moderation, appeal and data-rights statistics quarterly.
