The artist declares
Every artist confirms how their record was written and produced, including any assistive tools, against our published policy.
A person reviews it
Our A&R team checks the declaration against project files, stems and conversations. No automated approval, ever.
The badge is earned
Only staff can approve the Human Made badge. If anything changes, the badge comes off until it is reviewed again.
What the badge means
A small mark on a release and its smart link. No fanfare - just a promise you can check.
- Artwork is made by people - designers, photographers and illustrators we credit and pay.
- Melodies, vocals and arrangements come from the artists on the record.
- Production tools are fine. Replacing the artist is not.
- We tell you plainly when a rule changes, with a dated version.
